The above is a link to an interesting newsletter by Rural/Urban Resources, the first organization in Texas to warn landowners that the State would be taking control of their privately-owned groundwater, and advised NE Texas landowners how they could (can) protect their ownership of it.

The organization’s newsletter for this month may not seem to have too much to do with groundwater, but it actually does.  It just also touches on other things the state is doing that affect  our lives.

The Paris Chamber sincerely believes that the concerns expressed in their newsletter deserve consideration, and by as wide an audience as possible.  Without ideas, there is no progress.

And even a really bad idea can contain a nugget of wisdom or the gleam of a good idea, just as gold is found in dirt, diamonds generally found in blue clay, and kernels of wheat in the chaff.

A closed mind is a terrible waste.
